  • When will My Snake Crate ship?
    We announce the ship dates for the latest box at the top of our website. The exact ship date varies each month depending on how much time the current box takes to produce. Orders placed by the 30th of the current month can expect to receive their first box by the end of the following month. For example, if you place an order between July 31st and August 30th, your first box will be for September's box and will arrive by the end of September. Your first box will feature the Snake of the Month that is announced at the top of our website at the time your order is placed, and will ship in the month that snake is featured for. Example scenario: It is currently July 1st. You see "order August's Western Hognose Crate" on the top of the website. You place your order on July 2nd. Your order will be for August's Western Hognose box and will ship in August. Your order is NOT July's box, and will not ship in July.
  • Why does My Snake Crate take so long to ship?
    We understand your anticipation, and appreciate your patience while you wait for your box! My Snake Crate is operated by one individual, who is solely responsible for creating the artwork and creative content, as well as manufacturing each item and packing each crate for every order. There are several different time-consuming processes that go into completing just one box, including: writing, formatting, printing and binding each booklet, printing the posters and care guides, printing and cutting the critter cards, flashcards, and stickers, manufacturing the unique items, putting together the activities, roasting the coffee when applicable, and of course, packing and sorting each box to be shipped to you. Some boxes take longer to produce than others, which means some of our boxes may arrive near the middle of the month, while others may arrive near the end of the month. Production time depends on how long it takes to produce the unique items and put together the activity in each box. For some items, we can create them in batches of 10 within a 60 second timeframe. However, for other items, we may only be able to produce 1 item in that same 60 second timeframe. We are always working on solutions that allow us to fulfill orders more quickly and efficiently, but as a small business just getting its feet off the ground, it will take us some time to get there. We appreciate all of our founding customers who have continued supporting us while we work on improving My Snake Crate, little by little, each and every day. Thank you!
  • When will my Snakespresso order ship?
    If you purchased or are subscribed to our Flavor of the Month, your Snakespresso order will ship out at by the end of each month. For all other Snakespresso orders, we will fulfill them within 1-2 business days and ship them out right away. Once shipped, your order should arrive within 5 business days. A tracking number will be sent to the email attached to the order once your order ships.
  • How can I track my shipment?
    You will be provided with a tracking number via email as soon as your shipment is sent out.
  • What do I do if my box arrived damaged?
    While we try to pack each box with care, sometimes the shipping process is harsh and may result in damages to the box, and in rare cases, the contents as well. Please send us an email at support@mysnakecrate.com or contact us through the chat feature on our website with photos of your damaged box and we will send you a new box right away, free of charge! Please note that requests involving boxes with minor cosmetic damage such as scratches, scuff marks, and tears that do not disrupt the integrity of the box are not eligible to receive a new box.
  • What do I do if one or more of the items are missing from my box?
    We are very sorry if an item is missing from your box! If you are missing an item, please contact us at support@mysnakecrate.com or through the chat feature on our website and let us know which item is missing from your box along with your order number. We will request a photo of the complete contents of the box that you received, and upon approval, we will send you a brand new box free of charge!
  • Can I request a species for the Snake of the Month?
    We always encourage those interested in My Snake Crate to send us an email with a request for the Snake of the Month! Please feel free to reach out with your requests or other feedback to support@mysnakecrate.com.
  • Can I order My Snake Crate as a gift?
    Absolutely! Simply provide the shipping information of the gift recipient at checkout.
  • I never received my box. What do I do?
    First, we are very sorry if you didn't receive your box! We do our absolute best to ensure all of our orders are successfully delivered to our customers. If you never recieved your box, or you think a box is missing from your subscription, please reach out to us with your order number at support@mysnakecrate.com. We will get back to you right away, and we promise we will make things right!
  • How much does My Snake Crate cost?
    Our Standard Crate is $36.95 per month, but the longer you subscribe, the more you save per month! We offer subscriptions for 3, 6, and 12 months, respectively. If you want to share the My Snake Crate experience with family or friends, you may be interested in purchasing our Small, Large or Mega Family Crate, which include everything in our Standard Crate plus some extra goodies for everyone to enjoy! We also offer a Miniature Crate for $22.95 as a trial version of the Standard Crate.
  • Do you offer discounts on subscription plans?
    Yes! Subscribers save more each month the longer they subscribe. For the best deal, you may opt to pay in full for a 3, 6 or 12 month subscription, which can be found under the "Shop Crates" tab. Additionally, we offer our rewards program, where you can earn Scales and redeem them on our boxes. We also occasionally send out coupon codes with our boxes, so be on the look out for one of the many ways to save with My Snake Crate!
  • What if I want to cancel my subscription?
    We'll be sad to see you go, but we understand that life happens! For monthly subscriptions, you may cancel at any time by navigating to your account under https://www.mysnakecrate.com/account/my-subscriptions. If you did not make an account or you forgot your account information, please reach out to us at support@mysnakecrate.com and we will cancel your subscription for you. For our 3, 6 and 12 month prepaid subscriptions, a full cash refund will only be issued if the cancellation is requested before your first box has been shipped out. If you purchased a prepaid subscription and have already received your first box, we will issue your account with a store credit amount equal to the value of the refund (excluding tax).
  • What's included in each box?
    We are always finding new ways to keep each box interesting, so no two boxes are identical to each other! Our Standard Crate includes at least 9 items, some of which vary each month. Each box will contain a booklet, species poster, educational activity, Critter Card, flashcards, a sticker, and a care sheet; the remaining items alternate each month, and may be a variety of unique surprises such as wall art, accessories, magnets, bookmarks, home decor and much more! Our Miniature Crate includes 6 items, and will contain a booklet, sticker, Critter Card, flashcards, care sheet, and one unique surprise that will alternate each month.
  • What is the recommended age group for My Snake Crate?
    Our crates are suitable for all ages and are best enjoyed as a family activity where everyone is learning together! The adventures inside are fun and educational for adults and kids alike.
  • When will my Snakespresso order ship?
    If you subscribed to Snakespresso or purchased the Flavor of the Month, your order will ship out by the end of each month. All other non-renewing orders will ship out within 3 business days.
  • Can I order coffee blends released in previous months?
    Yes, you can! If you enjoyed a particular blend of our coffee, you may either subscribe to recieve that blend each month or purchase it as a single-time purchase.
  • How can I track my shipment?

    The Conservation Shop is our own exclusive line of products that include a variety of items such as T-shirts, stickers, magnets, coffee mugs, decor and more! Each item purchased contributes a donation toward a conservancy that supports the animal featured on the product(s). You can see which conservancy or organization will be donated to in the product description.
  • When will my order ship?
    We ship out all orders from the Conservation Shop within 5 to 7 business days unless otherwise stated in the product description. You will receive a tracking number for your shipment as soon as your order ships. Please note that almost all items from My Snake Crate are handmade and take us some time to produce. We appreciate your patience in advance!
  • My item(s) are damaged or missing. What do I do?
    We are so sorry to hear you've received damaged items! Please send us an email with a picture of the damaged item(s) to support@mysnakecrate.com and we will ship you a replacement, free of charge.
